Karin Kugler completed an academic study of art, a study of art education and a business management degree. She is a painter and independent lecturer.

She had  numerous art exhibitions (solo and group exhibitions) in various cities in Germany, England, Spain, France, China and the US.

In 2004 she received an award and the Art Prize for Painting "Prix du Hurepoix Raimon Ménager" of S.A.H (Société des Artistes du Hurepoix) during an international art exhibition in Paris.

Since 2007, the focus of the artist is on figurative painting, portrait painting (Images of Life) and ongoing studies on current trends in the figurative and abstract representation. Works can be found in public spaces and private collections.
